Glock 21/41 +4 Basepad Shipping Now

Gl 45 plus 4 web

Glock 21/41 lovers, our old Glock 21 +4 is back in the house – re-made to use the much-improved Glock 21/41 springs! We discontinued our Glock 21 basepads years ago because we weren’t happy with the springs (Glock insisted on using a 9mm diameter spring in a .45-width magazine, which caused problems in an extended mag). Glock has since changed the spring design, and Wolff Gunsprings has consented to wind some custom springs for us based on the new pattern. As always, our springs are longer and stronger than stock, helping your pistol deal with the extra load created by additional ammunition.  The new extensions are both longer overall, and wider internally, giving the user +4+ capacity in 45 ACP.

17+1 rounds of .45? Compared to an 8+1 or 10+1 gun, it seems almost unfair!

Another Great Sight Block Build

This one comes from Rocco “Ty” Preston, who writes:

Hi Robin, just wanted to send you a pic of my limited gun built on a Glock 22 frame.
Using your barrel block. It's amazing how fast I can track the front sight.

(Ty asked us to use these pictures because they show how little the sight moves compared to a stock gun.)

HK VP9 “Beta” Magwells Released

Marco magwell

Many of you have called in, asking for a VP9-specific magwell.  We’ve got a “Beta” part available now in our on-line store. As the name implies, this is a working prototype, run off on a 3D printer.

The VP9 part looks identical to the P30 (the gun at right is a P30), but there are many small differences.

Amazing Sight Block Build

Here’s an image of a totally “built-out” Sight Block gun, with all the bells and whistles.

“Your Taylor Freelance Front Sight Block is an Amazing product,” says Noel Zarza in a recent e-mail. “It’s a complete Glock game changer for USPSA, right next to the Tooth and Nail Thumb Rest.”

The pistol at right belongs to Zarza, a state-certified CCW instructor in Illinois. The base gun is actually a .357 Sig Glock 31, re-configured to shoot .40S&W using one of our drop-in kits.

HK VP9 Magwell/Basepad Set In Development

vp9magwell2web

Spent the day working with our draftsman to refine an HK VP9-specific version of our popular HKP30 magwell.  Simultaneously, we worked on upgrading our soon-to-be released HKP30/VP9 +0 basepad. (Currently being tested by competitive shooters Tavis Miller and TJ Lurvey.)

At right you’ll see version “C” of the magwell, and version “B” of the basepad, both including tweaks suggested by advanced HK shooters.

“Zombie green” doesn’t make for a very pretty picture (we use green for prototyping), but it tells all you HK fans what’s coming.
